Double Wedding Ring

For the last couple of days I've been quilting on a little table topper that I made about 3 or 4 years ago. It was made using the Quilt Smart fusible interfacing. At the time I bought the kit I was sure I'd never be able to piece a double wedding ring any other way. Then I hand pieced my Diamond Ring and discovered that the curved piecing really wasn't that hard.

At any rate, I decided this little piece had been waiting long enough so I started quilting it Thursday. At the time I took these pictures I hadn't removed the blue markings on the center motifs..so if you see blue, that is why. It's about 30 X 40".

And it's raining again this morning! Awwwgggrrrrhhhhh!

You do beautiful work. I think wedding ring quilts are the hardest thing to do. I've had problems with them anyway.

The double wedding ring looks wonderful, Mary. I've not tried curved piecing and probably won't be anytime soon.
