It was such an honor to have my Dutch Gold hanging in the show with so many awesome quilts.

The Des Moines Area Quilt Guild also held their show in an adjoining building. My camera battery decided to die shortly after we started viewing the quilts and I left my spare in the car so I didn't get many pictures. This was one of my favorites of those I did get
I think ultimately there will be pictures from the show posted on the guild's website and it will be worth your time to take a look. There were some really great quilts!
Gorgeous weather, gorgeous quilts, time with family!!! It was a good week.
Now back to quilting.

I was so SORRY I missed your call! I would have loved to come see you, but it was Homecoming here in town. Could you tell by all the toilet paper??? HA! Next time, hopefully I will have a little time to sneak a visit!!!
