I was already more than pleased with the ribbons I'd won with my entries in our quilt show. But today ended with the announcement I'd won Viewer's Choice with Dutch Gold! I'm totally thrilled. Especially since last year my blue Dutch Treat quilt missed winning Viewer's Choice by one vote (and that after Tom had already informed me that while he usually votes for one of my quilts, that year he decide to vote for something else!).
It's a terrible picture of me, but I sure do like all those ribbons..1st place Applique, Hand Quilted, Work of One Person; Celebrity Judge Award (Pittsburg Mayor), Viewer's Choice.

Hi, long time no see, so to speak. I've been busy and still is, but wanted to see what's going on with my neglected friends.
All I can say is WOW and WOW again. And well deserved. I was looking over a friend blog just now and saw that she was pointing to another blog.
I got curious and went there (http://quiltingalongthegorge.blogspot.com/ and guess what I saw. Photos from a quilt show in Tacoma and there was a photo of a DT (at least I think it is) in what looks like neutral colors. It's beautiful, but also a bit dull. I like all of yours much better.
Now I'm going to have a look at the months I've missed from your blog. And I know, I haven't seen the newest DT since you finished it, but I still love it. LOL.
