No tricks going on here today. I spent the morning making Block 14 in Cheryl's
1880's Sampler. It's called Kite's Tail and is my favorite so far in this quilt. It has 63 pieces! I just love the fact that Cheryl makes these so easy to do (well not all easy..but doable) without having to resort to paper piecing. I may have said that on here before..but I keep being happy about it. The little squares in the center sections finish at 1/2". It's a 5" finished block.
Now and then I've been working on my
Raggedy and Friends quilt from the Painted Quilt. A few nights ago I finally finished blocks 7, 8, and 9 which are smaller than the others
Block 7
Block 8
Block 9
The remaining 3 blocks have been posted, I'm just behind.

Mary - your 1880's block is SO BEAUTIFUL!
You worked this one up so quickly and the fabrics are so pretty!
Your raggedy friends project is darling!
The 1880's block looks like it could be a whole little doll quilt. Lots of pieces.
I am trying to get caught up on the Raggedy Ann & Andy blocks. Just not enough time to do everything I want to do.
Your 1880 block is wonderful Mary....lots of little pieces for machine piecing IMHO LOL.
Crispy
What a beautiful 1880 block you've made.

A big round of applause! Your fancy kite looks ready to fly! Great job. Glad you enjoyed the process.
Your blocks are all amazing. I managed to get through April Fool's Day with no tricks played - surprising since I spent it with 7- and 11-year-old grandchildren.
That one block with 63 pieces is amazing.
