Block 10 for the 1880's Sampler Quilt...a Sawtooth Star Variation.  I chose to make my center sashing around the 25 patch narrow like the original quilt.  These are 5" finsihed blocks so those center squares are really tiny.

Here are my 10 blocks made to date

Block 12 from the Thread Head Quilt Along...Goose or Turkey Tracks

And the blocks to date..9" finished block size

This week's Civil War Block..Lincoln's Platform, aka Double Monkey Wrench

Here are the 10 Civil War blocks made to date.  These are 8" blocks.

Working on 3 projects using the same type fabrics is kind of fun.

WOW I think I want to do more sampler quilts, but I might just stick to my civil war one for now.
The thread head one looks really good with the alternating blocks, and the civil war one is coming along nicely, I love how all the colours sit together.

So many great blocks. As much as I love red, the gold/blue version of the Thread Head blocks is really pretty!!

All 3 of your sampler projects are coming along nicely. Of course, I love your 1880 blocks. Sawtooth Variation came out quite nicely.

Great job with all the blocks; I'm so sorry that I can't join in the fun. I'm enjoying the eye candy on your site though. Keep sharing them.

My goodness Mary - you are cahieving heaps of lovely work. ALL your blocks are wonderful. Wish I could keep up as you do. How many more of Joannes blocks are you doing?

I love your color choices for the quilt along and it looks fabulous. I also like your other sampler blocks very much, but I'm sure glad I don't feel the temptation to do them too.

The quilt along was enough, as I'm sure my family would tell you if asked. Lol. I, of course had to make and finish them all right away. I would have loved to make the blocks as they were posted, but then I'm afraid I would have made all of them twice and the quilt is big enough with just one of each block. Hm...

I would have ended up with two quilts and there are to many tops waiting for me to quilt them as it is.
