Not a lot of quilting going on here in the last few days as we had company over the weekend.
But I did get my weekly Civil War Block done. It's called Birds in the Air
And on Friday I did the weekly block for my 1880's Sampler
And I found the fabric I wanted to use for my alternate Alabama blocks in the Thread Head Quilt Along project and made several of those blocks on Friday too. Here they are with some of the blocks I've made so far. I think I'm going to like this quilt a lot.
I have a couple of siggies I need to get in the mail so I'd best get busy. Have a great day!

I always always love your work....that is going to be one awesome quilt!
Hi Mary!
Your "Birds in the Air" block looks great... I had three goes at this one before I was happy. Biggest issue was getting it to finish at 8 1/2". I worked on it yesterday and unfortunately it was one of those hot, humid days!
I have some siggy blocks to get out too! It's still lots of fun,
Happy Sewing!
You always have the best projects going. I really love the Thread Head project!!
Crispy
Lovely projects...I need to get caught up on my CW blocks. At the retreat this weekend I met a lady from Pittsburgh, KS. She likes to work on little blocks, and I mean little!
The blocks are great. And your quilt-along quilt is looking fantastic!♥
What beautiful blocks, and the Alabama blocks are just perfect for that quilt.
