One of my aunts had a dress from this brown
Isn't this a great stripe?
Grandma had a dress from this fabric
I made a lap back pillow from the green colorway of this fabric for 4-H. My sister used this red colorway for a project.I think my aunt had a dress from this???
Love this green print

Your blocks all look so fun and it will be nice to see them all together.
I am really enjoying all the blocks you've made! Thank you so much for sharing the memories of these fabrics as well. It's a lot of fun! What a keepsake this will be! :D
Hi, I just found your blog. i love the blocks. Where did you find the pattern? I sure would like to make a quilt like it. Thanks.
Carol...I couldn't reply directly to you as you don't have an email listed. There were templates for this block in my grandmother's stash of cut pieces. But I've since identified it as Brilliant Star (Nancy Page) or Pointed Star (KC Star). It is in Block Base for EQ as the Pointed Star. It is shown with the center hexagon the same fabric as the outer ring of hexes too.
I'm loving these blocks and your memories of them. Back in our day, I don't think any of us were stylin' in our maturnity clothes LOL.

The fabrics remind me of the dresses and aprons my Grandma Unruh wore back in the 60's.
Mary I love these blocks. The fabrics are wonderful. Arlinda
