Ouch!

This week has flown by and I'm behind posting the Dutch Treat blocks I've made.  Was busy pressing, trimming and scanning them this morning.

#111 Night Light

#112 Nine Patch

First Ouch!
For some reason I moved my ruler and mistrimmed this block.  Guess it will get remade.
#113 Old & New (how ironic is that name?)

#114 Oranges & Lemons

#115 Orbits

#116 Order

#117 Paper Planes

We received siggies yesterday from Mary in Illinois.  She found the prfect fabric!

Ouch #2

I finished the last of the center blocks for my Exploding Star and one side of the border that extends the points (actually did the border earlier this week).  It wasn't until I took this picture that I notice one wrong square.  If you can see it you have really good eyes.  Now I need to get off the computer and fix it!

Oh Mary, what can I say abt the ouch? The sympathy is surely being sent. I always want to CRY when I do that!
Could you add a few circly somethings or blobs around the bottom part of that block to even it out & have a Mary Original Block? I would be tempted to try?

The blocks are wonderful or as I am fond of saying: FABULOUS!

Like your Exploding Star, that's a lotta squares! Ihave excellant eyes but perhaps not on that cause I can't find the wrong one?

Isn't it funny that we don't notice the mistakes until later. One day I had a quilt on the rack just hanging, was talking to a friend and then...wham.....a block done wrong....

Love your blocks.

Well it certainly took me a long time to find the ouch LOL. The block is so beautiful as are the DT blocks. Sorry you have to redo one though....

Your Dutch treat blocks are gorgeous. You are so FAST at making them! Ouchies that can't be "fudged" really do smart! Sorry you have to re-do some of your lovely stitching!
