Progress

Another hot and humid day in S.E. Kansas. I'm back to working on my "Flowers For........." quilt. 48 blocks done so far. A lot more to go!

Hi Mary,

Yes, it's another hot one today. I love the looks of this - especially the white background, very refreshing.

that quilt is looking nice - I like that nice simple style - although sometimes they are not as simple as they look.

I told your son that I would tell you I saw him grocery shopping today! We ran into each other at the meat counter. Small world, huh?

Just posted a picture on my blog. Did you see how similar our quilts are?

That one will be so beautiful when done. I had fun reading about and seeing the chic and rooster in the other post. I have five hens and one rooster and this morning when I went to feed them I heard a chicken peep. One of the hens has bin in hiding and now I have to crawl to get to the hiding place to get the 7 eggs that did not hatch. Yuck I just hope they wont brake (shudder) before I can throw them away. How many chickens you ask.... lol, just one. I have no idea why.

This quilt is superb ! I will use the pattern (at least the blocks with little squares ) to make a quilt for my husband. It's gorgeous ! You made another scrap quilt that I like very much !
