I was reading Freda's blog this morning and learned about a discussion of Easter dresses, hats, and purses going on at Eileen's Attic. What fun memories...looking at every one's pictures brings a smile to my face.
Here's a picture of me with my little cousin Connie. Looks like I could have used a smile that day! You can tell it's central Iowa with the plush coat over my Easter dress.
This one was 1970 or so. My aunt Barbara with her four children and me with my three sons. Sorry about the poor picture quality.

LOL Mary, you do not look like a happy camper, didn't the Easter Bunny you a chocolate bunny? Did your Dad eat the ears off....that's what my dad would do, the old poop LOL.

Beautiful photos, Easter has never bin like that here in Iceland, you know, with new clothes and like, it was always nice if the Christmas clothes fit still. Lol. And we wore them even if they were not "good" anymore. But it was always very holy.
