Dutch Treat Progress

I decided to take a break from Dear Jane blocks today and start sashing and sewing some of my Dutch Treat blocks together since I have more than half of them made. I don't have a design wall currently to get a straight on shot so I have to make do with the living room floor. The top five rows are sewn together and then the bottom two rows are together. I have a few more blocks done, but not enough for another whole row yet.

I'm thinking I may quilt this in sections ...thirds probably and then add the borders last. These are 4 inch finished blocks with 1/2" sashing and cornerstones. 89 more to make and then the appliqued border.

That would be my oxygen tubing snaking around behind the blocks.

I did one more block this evening. This one is called Spring Growth.

Very nice Mary. I have enjoyed seeing the blocks as they were done, and even more as the finished rows! Great job.

You sure have gotten a lot done on that. It is looking really beautiful, I do not have a design wall either and have to make due with the floor unless I am at a quilt meeting and have help holding quilts up to get photo's.

Until I saw the pictures on your post I didn't realize what the blocks you were making were a part of, now I know, and it's so beautiful. Very!
